"Here amid these picturesque hills our forefathers and foremothers toiled for the sake of goodly heritage. We should do no less."

The Glazier Tavern

will be open Saturday, June 10th from10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

during the Colonial Craftsmen Faire to be held on the Town Green

sponsored by the Willington Public Library.

We invite you to be part of this historic event, experiencing traditional colonial trades and crafts on the Green, and also by visiting the Historical Society's building identified by our new sign!  This will be an opportunity to see the progress that is being made in the building as well as  the Railroad memorabilia from the West Willington RR Station, and the functioning clock from the Hall Memorial School, that had been the timekeeper when the school was built in 1922.

And if you have an hour or more to volunteer to serve as a guide or docent at the Tavern, we would love to have you stay. There will also be an opportunity to sign up for the upcoming tour of the Masinda Button Shop, which will be open on a limited basis later in the month.
